Post and Railings

Surecast Post and Rails are able to manufacture from our standard range or offer a bespoke service, to manufacturing to your own design and specifications.  As Surecast are ISO 9001 accredited, DDA and P2- P4, compliant we are able to cover most applications.  Posts can be manufactured to comply with the 900 -1100mm high guidelines set by the DDA. Easy grip hand rails are 45mm or 50mm diameter and can be  coated with ‘warm to touch’ finish.  Rails can be fixed to wall brackets or designed with ‘D’ safety ends.  Any size of order can be accommodated, from bespoke one-off designs to thousands of units.  Working with ferrous, non-ferrous, copper based and lead castings, Surecast is one of the UK's leading manufacturers of posts and railings for pedestrian control and hazard protection application

Waterfront Post and Railings
The company has over 30 years' experience in the provision of waterfront posts and railings. Fully anodised, Surecast's products are corrosion resistant, virtually maintenance free, and able to withstand the salt air and sea spray of coastal environments.  Stanchions can have modern, traditional, Regency, Tudor, Victorian and Edwardian styles, as well as an ornate, nautical design.

Hazard protection barriers 
Surecast's railings are also installed to protect pedestrians from traffic, falls and other hazards. Barriers are installed for hazardous walkways, steep paths, balconies, bridge parapets, balustrades, piazzas, patios and car parks. 

Accessories A full range of cast fittings is manufactured to suit steps, ramps and wall-mounted applications.

Composition and manufactureThe posts and railings are made from an aluminium LM6 alloy, cast from recycled aluminium in accordance with the relevant British Standards.  Any size of order can be accommodated, from bespoke one-off designs to thousands of units.  All posts and railings are anodised for corrosion resistance, and are available in a choice of finishes from paint to chrome.
